Lead Material Handler at Unimin Distribution Center Marshall, TX

-Responsible for daily operations at the Distribution Center

- I handle all distribution center dealings with Union Pacific, verifying the loaded QTS pipeline report, calling in switches, releasing cars, spotting cars, and any day to day activity involving Union Pacific.

-I am responsible for weighing in and out trucks in IFS.  I used IFS on a daily basis, and work closely with our Unimin Customer Service Representative to ensure that all Inventory is accurate, all customer orders are accurate, and all BOL’s are completed in IFS.

-I am responsible for keeping a manual inventory of all silos.

-I am responsible for keeping an inventory of all Incast 55 and Minex 4, and order in new cars whenever is necessary.

-I am responsible for unloading railcars into silos, as well as loading trucks from silos and Wilson Loaders. 

- I work very closely with Unimin Customer Service in all aspects of our operation.  From customer PO’s to on hand inventory I am in constant contact with Customer Service.

-I handle any and all road maintenance on the yard.  I can operate a plethora of heavy equipment, and take care of all road work at the Marshall Facility.

-I verify and ensure that all daily paperwork is completed, filed, or faxed.

-I handle all daily and weekly reports, as well as any reports needing generated in IFS. 

-I am responsible for moving inventory from railcars to silos.

-I deal with internal and external customers on a daily basis, and take care of any questions, concerns, or problems that they may have.

-I am the Safety Committee Chair, and I handle with all aspects of Safety at the Marshall Facility.  Safety is my number on priority, I not only put the highest priority on safety I lead by example and make safety part of every decision.

-Responsible for I & E construction and maintenance job planning.

-I am very knowledgeable in WMS, Maximo, SAP, SRM, Primavera, and all Microsoft applications.

-I work closely with the I & E specialists to plan work orders by analyzing the basic job steps,     determine their relative sequence in the overall job.  Identify parts, materials, tools, skills, permitting and personnel requirements for each step in the process.

-I visit specific job sites to get a basic understanding about the job that will be performed, identify the safety hazards so that the proper task level planning can take place. 

- Responsible for writing work orders, completing work orders, and managing the work order   backlog.

- I also facilitate the financial review meeting, and the south control of work meeting.

–I am very knowledgeable in WMS, have experience in P6, and am very competent in all Microsoft office applications.

- I work closely with the I & E specialists to plan work orders by analyzing the basic job steps, determine their relative sequence in the overall job.  Identify parts, materials, tools, skills, permitting and personnel requirements for each step in the process.

- I visit specific job sites to get a basic understanding about the job that will be performed, identify the safety hazards so that the proper task level planning can take place.

Chemical Warehouse - Lead Materials Handler

-I was responsible for the loading, and unloading of chemicals going out on frack jobs.

-Accurately weighing in chemicals, so customers will be properly billed for all materials used. 

-Completing all chemical orders, and SAP deliveries and returns. 

-Drove frack chemicals to location, spotted trailers, and connected all chemical hoses.

-Coordinated all hot shot deliveries and pickups to and from locations.

-Worked in conjunction with frack, cement, coiled tubing, and wireline to ensure that all enternal customer needs were addressed and met.

Supervisor
Supervisor over the Preload in many areas, which included Unload, Sort Aisle, Small Sort and Load. I also supervised on Twilight in several areas including Sort Aisle, PD 2, PD 5, Metro Unload, Primary Unload, Irregs., Metro 2, and Metro 7.I successfully increased the PPH over the Austin hub. I was responsible for ensuring that packages were unloaded and loaded to correct destination. I successfully supervised over 25 employees and I was head supervisor over safety. I was honored to be named as Quadrant Leader (Supervisor over Supervisors) in Austin, I covered approximately one half of Twilight operations which included Primary Unload, Sort Aisle, Small Sort, Metro Unload, Metro 2 Load, Metro 7 Load, Irregs., PD 7 and Air Docks.
